VBTV series vertical tanks are site-erected, welded steel tanks with fixed cone roofs, with single-tank capacities from 10 t up to 5,000 t (Ø22.2 m × 15 m). VBTH series horizontal tanks are shop-built, road-transportable units ideal for smaller depots and emulsion/PMB plants.
Our multi-tank terminal projects reach 40,000 t of total capacity, complete with service tanks, truck loading gantries and weighbridges. Every tank is thermal-oil heated and fully insulated for 160–200 °C service.
We take a bitumen terminal from concept to operation under one contract:
Every tank is modelled in 3D with SolidWorks, detailed into fabrication and erection drawings with AutoCAD, and verified by finite-element analysis in ANSYS.
Shell course thicknesses are calculated to API 650; wind overturning and buckling checks, site-specific seismic analysis to API 650 Appendix E (sloshing, anchorage and foundation loads) and high-temperature verification to Appendix M complete the dossier. Foundation loads and anchor layouts are handed to your civil designer as a ready package.
Every plate, pipe and profile enters production with an EN 10204 3.1 mill certificate from approved mills; incoming inspection verifies grade, dimensions and surface quality, and heat numbers remain traceable down to the weld seam.
Our quality infrastructure is built on ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, EN ISO 3834-2 welding quality and EN 1090-2 EXC3 execution class. Products carry CE marking under EN 536, with type certificates for bitumen storage tanks, emulsion tanks, colloid mills, heaters and pumps.
Bitumen is never exposed to direct flame: heat is delivered through thermal-oil coils and jackets. Our own VTH series heaters cover 500,000 to 1,500,000 kcal/h per unit and run in cascade on large terminals; where fuel is unavailable or electricity is preferred, we supply electric thermal-oil heaters and electric trace heating.
Burner modulation follows the calculated heat demand — a 5,000 m³ tank held at 160 °C loses about 242 kW at steady state, and that is exactly what the heater plant is sized for.
The VH, VD, VN and VKY series helical and internal gear pumps and the jacketed ball valves in our terminals are manufactured in-house, with European sourcing available where specified. Tank venting uses European-origin pressure & vacuum relief valves (PVRV) sized to API 2000.
We build with the industry's most trusted brands: VEGA for level and pressure, JUMO for temperature, Endress+Hauser and KROHNE for flow metering, and Siemens, ABB, Schneider Electric, Eaton, Weidmüller and WEG across electrical and automation.
Shell and roof carry 100 mm of certified rock wool at 80 kg/m³ under galvanized trapezoidal steel cladding. With an overall U-value of ≈ 0.38 W/m²K, the system holds product temperature on minimum fuel — from desert heat to high-altitude winters.
A 40,000 t terminal across three sites in North Africa with 8 × 5,000 m³ tanks, 7 thermal-oil heaters and 3 loading gantries; a 5,000 m³ tank project in Ghana; dozens of tank farms across Türkiye, the Middle East, Europe and Africa. Exporting to more than 40 countries with over 3,000 customers since 1997.
As an option, we supply VLA series top loading arms and multi-bay loading gantries: DN100 pneumatic balanced arms with parking position; the hot-bitumen version is fully thermal-oil jacketed and insulated (up to 220 °C),a diesel version is available.
Custody-transfer metering integrates a heated Endress+Hauser Promass F300 Coriolis flowmeter with a Fluidwell batch controller (ATEX Zone 2); overfill sensor, grounding, ESD valve and access platforms are optional. Every gantry connects to the terminal SCADA and carries CE marking.
Vertical tanks from 10 t up to 5,000 t per tank (Ø22.2 m × 15 m). Multi-tank projects reach 8 tanks and 40,000 t of total capacity.
API 650 (Appendix M for high temperature, Appendix E for seismic) and its European counterpart EN 14015. Welding quality to EN ISO 3834-2, structural execution to EN 1090-2 EXC3, venting to API 2000.
With thermal oil: internal coils, a suction heat exchanger and jacketed piping. No direct flame ever touches the bitumen. Heaters are our own VTH series; electric thermal-oil heaters are available where preferred.
Yes — turnkey: engineering, fabrication, site erection, welding and NDT, insulation, automation and commissioning. A project schedule is provided at the proposal stage.
In more than 40 countries since 1997, including North and West Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Central Asia and Southeast Asia.
Let's talk about your terminal. Send us your capacity, site and product details — our engineering team will come back with a preliminary layout and budget proposal.

What Is Asphalt Asphalt is a mixture of, aggregate, binder and filler. Aggregates used for asphalt mixtures can be crushed rock, sand, gravel or slag. A binder is used to bind the aggregates in a sticky mixture. Commonly, bitumen is used as a binder. Although asphalt is main

What is chip sealing? Chip sealing is a pavement surface treatment that involves the application of a liquid asphalt binder, followed by a layer of crushed stone or aggregate chips. This treatment is used to seal and protect the surface of the pavement from wear and damage c

Bitumen Emulsion Bitumen emulsion is a versatile and widely-used material in the construction industry. It is a mixture of bitumen, water, and an emulsifying agent, which allows it to be easily applied as a liquid to surfaces in a thin layer. Bitumen is a sticky, black, hydr
